Glen Of Imaal
Terrier Breeders
These ancient dogs of unknown origins are named after a
valley in Eastern Ireland. They are tough, sturdy and adaptable
and were ideal for fox and badger hunting in rough terrain. They
love to dig, chase and run. These brave, spirited and cocky little
dogs may be tough when hunting, but are mild mannered, patient and
peaceful with family members. Grooming needs are minimal.
The coat needs to be stripped twice a year. Colors are red, blue
wheaten, red/brindle and black/brindle. They weigh 34 to 36 lbs.
and stand 14" at the shoulders. Contact the dog breeders
below for your next family friend.
