Standard Schnauzer
Breeders
A 500 year old
German native,
the Standard Schnauzer is the original Schnauzer from where all other Schnauzer breeds
were developed. Schnauzer means "whiskered snout" in German.
They
are quite efficient in
the area of herding and were depicted in 15th century art. They are very strong and yet
gentle for their size. This breed stands an average of 19 inches at the shoulder and has a
hard wiry coat. Above average grooming is required. The Standard Schnauzer
makes an excellent family dog and loves exercise. They are compassionate
with those they know and love. Contact the dog breeders below for
your next family friend.
