Swedish Vallhund Breeders

This Spitz family member dates back to the Vikings.  These quite smart and energetic small dogs may be a precursor to the Pembroke Welsh Corgi.  Vals are known to be fine cattle herders as well as great watchdogs.  They weigh between 20 and 35 pounds and stand 12 to 15 inches tall at the shoulder.  This well proportioned animal is agile and active.  They are popular in Europe but rare in the United States.  They need plenty of exercise even though they adapt nicely to any size living arrangements.  Contact the dog breeders below for your next family friend.
